COMMON NAME : Creeping Brookweed

BOTANICAL NAME : Samolus repens

FAMILY : Primulaceae

PLANT GROUP : Herbs

SIZE : Prostrate

EVC : Coastal Saltmarsh

LOCAL NOTES:

Perennial herb 10-40 cm in height.

Its leaves are dull green on stems up to 40cm long.

It has tiny white or pink tubular flowers on erect stems September to April.

It is widespread in salt marsh areas of Shallow Inlet Marine and Coastal Park.
