LOCAL NOTES:

The form growing in Sandy Point and Shallow Inlet is the smaller form with an upright to spreading habit, with narrower bright green leaves and fewer teeth along leaf margins.

Flower heads have 8-13 yellow ray florets with a yellow disc. Early flowers can sometimes be seen in August, and flowering continues often until April.

Seen widely in Sandy Point including beside beach access tracks in the township, and in areas of coastal dunes, scrub and at Shallow Inlet.
