WiSP Evening Event

WiSP Evening Event

Location: Sandy Point Community Centre

WiSP is trying out a new format for our information sessions.  We're going to offer evening events more focussed on information, discussion and sharing.

Our first of this format will be our local bird enthusiast Diane Carpenter who gave a hugely informative (and amazingly well-received) presentation on the seven most observed migratory waders in September.  This will be a repeat but it's also an opportunity to hear (and see Leanne Cusack's brilliant photos) Diane again.

Our second session on the night is Alex Fejer who will present local photos and discuss the dynamics of the Shallow Inlet spit.  We know there are others amongst the community who have living experience about how the spit changes.  Alex is going to raise the most likely cause of the cycle and will open the session to discussion.

Like the Music Group concerts WiSP encourages people to bring their own food and drink (especially as it runs during dinner).  You need to bring everything to dine through there will be tables set up.  Glassware is discouraged.

Please RSVP so we know how many tables to set by 6th of Feb,  Let us know on wildlifeinsandypoint@gmail.com.(reply) or 0425802669.
