This young seal was resting briefly on the sandspit this week. Seals need to haul out on rocks or beaches for a variety of reasons - to rest, give birth, or moult.

WiSP is offering a Pop Up Shorebird Scoping session this Sunday 15th of September from 2 - 3:30pm. We’ll have our local bird enthusiast to help us identify the birds and to provide information about bird life in our area.

The third Saturday weeding activity for the Stage 2 Grant.

Activity - Removal of Dolichos Pea from the bottom

COMMUNITY CENTRE OPEN TODAY - 10am to 1:30pm - offering water, tea and coffee, toilet and recharging for 1 item per person. No cooking devices, any food heating can be done in the microwave.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, and pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
