New playground coming soon!
The South Gippsland Shire Council has notified the Sandy Point Community Centre Committee that the new playground for the TP Taylor Reserve is scheduled to go in on the 27th February. During the week before, they will be removing the old unit, and to get access will remove the front fence. The plan is to have it up and running before the Labour Day weekend.
The design is suitable for all ages, has 26 activities and has a capacity for 50+, not bad for such a small space and will be in natural wood with colours close to the Community Centre’s colours and the surrounding environment.
