LOCAL NOTES:

Coast Beard-heath is common in Sandy Point and the adjacent coastal reserve.

Tiny white flowers are seen from September to November. The fleshy white fruits that follow in summer provide food for local birds such as rosellas.

It is slow growing, but old scraggy trees can be pruned to produce new growth in a garden setting.
