LOCAL NOTES:
1 - 2 metre bush that has particularly attractive rusty-reddish new growth in spring.
It has many tiny yellow green flowers at new growth tips in Spring.
It is well suited to coastal gardens as an attractive screening plant. It can be hedged and is not usually eaten by rabbits.
Coast Pomaderris is found in the Coastal Reserve area, along the Roy Henderson Trail and beach access tracks. It is also found on many blocks in Sandy Point particularly those that border the coastal reserve or have not had their natural vegetation cleared. Also found along the Roy Henderson Track.
