Marinus Link work notification
Upcoming non-invasive Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) activities that Marinus Link is undertaking in front of the dunes on Waratah Bay Beach on Thursday 4 August 2022. Please find a works notification attached. (see below)
Key points are:
· On Thursday 4 August 2022 Marinus Link and their consultants will be undertaking GPR activities in front of the dunes, approximately half way between Waratah Bay and Sandy Point.
· These activities will be non-invasive, and will take one day to complete.
During this time you may see:
· 1-2 vehicles accessing and traversing along the beach from Sandy Point Surf Life Saving Club.
· The use of a GPR machine on the beach, which is similar in size to a lawn mower.
All necessary approvals and access agreements are in place.
