EV fast charger for Sandy Point

We are pleased to announce that grant funding from the Bendigo Bank has been secured to install a publicly accessible electric vehicle charger in Sandy Point. We are working with our partners the Energy Innovation Cooperative and Sandy Point Men’s Shed on this project. The proposed location for the charger is the south side of the Men’s Shed. EV drivers will pay a fee to use the charger with profits after transactional costs being returned to the Shed. It is anticipated that the installation will encourage EV drivers to come to Sandy Point with flow-on benefits for our town.
