LOCAL NOTES:
Coast (or Drooping) Sheoak is common in Sandy Point and in the Coastal Reserve.
It has separate male and female trees with the flowers on the male trees being the most noticeable - in winter the yellow flowers can be seen, on spikes, at the ends of the branchlets.
